Park Avenue Policies

Guaranteed Reservations

Reservations made using a valid credit card are automatically guaranteed. 

Online reservations without a credit card may be guaranteed by e-Transfer within 48 hours of placing the booking, or by calling to indicate the desired payment method upon arrival (cash or cheque).


Cancellation Policy

Guaranteed reservations must be cancelled 2 days prior to arrival date to avoid cancellation penalties. Reservations cancelled within the 48 hour period are non-refundable.


Check-in/Check-out

Check in time begins at 3:00pm. If your party happens to arrive earlier and the room is not available at the time of arrival, we will do our best to store your bags so you can enjoy your day in the St. John's/Mount Pearl area.

Check out time is for 11:00am the day of departure.


Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards, as well as cash, e-Transfers and cheques.

Please send e-Transfers to <twelvepark@gmail.com> and make cheques payable to Edward Murphy c/o Park Avenue Suites. A stamp will be available.


Taxes

HST in Newfoundland and Labrador is 15%


Room Occupancy

Maximum occupancy in Signal Hill and Cape Spear is 4 guests. Maximum occupancy in Terra Nova and Gros Morne is 2 guests. Addition guests are welcome for a fee of $15.00 per guest, per night.


Damages

Any type of loss or damage to items in the room or any public space will result in a charge that will be at the discretion of management. A missing Nintendo System will result in an automatic charge of $500.00 CAD.


Non-Smoking Policy

All guest rooms are non-smoking. Smoking in the house will result in a cleaning fee of $250.00 CAD, and continued noncompliance will result in dismissal from the property.


Lost and Found

We will make every effort to retrieve and hold any items accidentally left behind for up to 30 days. After that period has passed, and the item remains unclaimed, it is disposed of. The guest is responsible for the shipping cost and custom fees (where applicable) for the return of lost & found items.

Any items left in or next to the garbage bins are considered refuse and will be discarded. We are not responsible for items that appear to be for disposal. Guests are encouraged to avoid confusion by placing all items in the drawers and cabinets provided, or in their luggage.
